Talking About Your Emotions Running Deep

What do you do when your emotions run so deep and your insides feel like they are about to explode? Oh, but they are not because you are just "holding it" and allowing it to rent a room inside of you. You have knots in your stomach and everything is just so tense and bottled up. You are just so filled with stuff! So why do you do this to yourself when most of the time storing your emotions are breaking you down? Eventually, it will come out…whether it is in a good way or a bad way, whether it bursts out into flames by taking control over you or you can take the control over it. It’s your choice.

Here is a little food for thought: You need to release it and get unclogged! Guess what? The longer you hold it the heavier it gets. Release it in a song or a poem, tell it to someone, write it all down, talk to God in prayer…the choices are yours, but just let it go! Now, I am not saying to hurt someone else, just get it out of you. Come from out of the bottomless pit being always full of just stuff (and I am not talking about food either). Take control of your emotions, whatever has gotten you all bottled up. It may get you down for a while, but do not stay there; remember, "We Fall Down but We Get Up". Deliver yourself from the aches and pains. Release it and Free Yourself today!

  1. Great topic, "Emotions." We all have them, that's undeniable, they're natural. How we deal with them are KEY. To deny your emotions is like denying a natural part of your human character. In the book "Emotional Intelligence" the author states, "Situations that create strong emotions will always require more thought (before a response). Self-management is what happens when you act, or do not act." He goes on to say, "Most lapses in emotional intelligence come from a simple lack of understanding."

Simply stated we need to become educated, trained, and mentored on how to RESPOND instead of REACTING to situations, especially those which tend to move us deeply (emotionally). I know you've heard that statement, "Wow, he/she was really passionate about that subject given the way she reacted (or blew up)." We need to THINK before we respond; and, also think about what you "THINK" about. Like you said earlier in your post about thoughts taking "residence." I'll add to your statement that, Whatever is taking residence now may be taking OWNERSHIP later! So, be careful what you are allowing yourself to THINK about.

In the book "The Secret" the author says, "thoughts become THINGS!" Emotions are ENERGY in motion which manifest themselves into THINGS, whether it be arguments, acts of love and peace, or bitterness and strife. Positive thoughts produce positive energy, negative/destruction thoughts produce negative energy. In my life, I'm chosing POSITIVITY!
